Angostura Spicy Fish Tacos

Ingredients:

  • 1lb Fresh fish fillets
  • 1 tbsp Ground herb seasoning
  • 1 tsp Garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp ANGOSTURA® aromatic bitters
  • 1 cup All purpose flour
  • Oil for frying fish

Sauce:

  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • ½ cup Yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp ANGOSTURA® aromatic bitters
  • 1 tsp Pepper sauce
  • 1 tbsp Fresh lime juice
  • ½ tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Capers, chopped
  • 1 tbs Chadon beni, chopped
  • 12 sm. Flour tortillas
  • Shredded lettuce, cabbage and carrots for topping

Method:

  • Cut fish into 1-inch strips
  • Season with seasoning and garlic, salt, pepper and bitters, marinate for 15 minutes
  • Combine all the sauce ingredients and refrigerate
  • Heat oil in a frying pan
  • Dredge fish in flour and fry in hot oil; drain
  • Lightly fry tortillas in oil, curling the sides up to make a U-shape, drain and fill with fish and salad
